Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) invites applications for recruitment of Chief System Manager, Superintending Engineer, System Engineer, Medical Officer, Law Officer in Kharagpur. Last date for application is 30th April 2016.
Chief System Manager - 01
Educational Qualification:(a) Ph.D with 1st class in preceding degrees from a recognized Institute of repute in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience OR MTech/ ME with 1st Class from a recognized Institute of repute in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics or equivalent with at least 15 years of experience. (b) Proven competence in Planning/Installation / Operation / Management/Maintenance of Networks/Systems in large organizations. (c) The organizational ability for coordinating and managing various services and systems in a large organization. Desirable: Knowledge of Purchase and other administrative processes in Government Organisations.
Pay Scale:Rs. 37400-67000/- (PB-4) with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) Rs.10000/-
Age Limit:50 years.
Superintending Engineer (Civil) - 01
Educational Qualification:(a) BE/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering (1st Class or equivalent) from a recognised and nationally reputed Institute/University; (b) A minimum 18 years of working experience out of which at least 8 years of experience as an Executive Engineer in Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- or equivalent in Central / State Government including Government Autonomous Bodies/ Organizations and Public Sector Undertakings of national repute in the following areas: Planning, design, estimation, tendering, contract management, execution, construction, billing, certification etc. of Civil Works involving, but not limited to, multi-storeyed buildings, institutional buildings, water, sanitary and sewer systems, central HVAC system, fire fighting systems, building management systems, roads and area development etc.
Pay Scale:Rs. 37400-67000/- (PB-4) with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) Rs.8700/-
Age Limit:50 years.
System Engineer - 02
Educational Qualification:BE/BTech with 1st Class in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics or equivalent from a recognized Institute of repute with at least 2 years of experience in installation, operation and maintenance of computer systems (servers, system software). Proficiency in Linux based operating systems is essential. Desirable: Experience in configuration and operation of any of NAS/SAN/Firewall/Security Appliances / Cloud, and certifications in any of the areas of hardware, storage, operating systems, security.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) with Grade Pay (GP) Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit:35 years.
Medical Officer - 02
Educational Qualification:MBBS degree from a reputed and recognized university with minimum 55% marks and at least 3 years working experience in a reputed hospital in Government / PSU / Private Sector. Experience in ICU, Trauma Care Unit is preferable. Desirable: MD/MS/DNB in the specialty preferably three years post PG experience in a large hospital.

Law Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institute of repute. Experience: Should have adequate practical education and experience for 3-4 years especially in the required field of legal work, IPR claim submission, and monitoring. Working knowledge in drafting of various types of Agreements and related documentations for construction, supply, engagement of contractors, procurements, execution of the various employment and service regulations, dealing with the court cases and RTI matters. Desirable: Master’s Degree in Law from a recognized University / Institute of repute. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a Patent Agent license.
