Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) invites applications for recruitment of Research Associate (RA), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Field Assistant (FA), Skilled Assistant, Technical Assistant and Various Posts in Bangalore. Last date for application is 30th June 2016.
Research Associate (RA)
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. In Agricultural Science (Plant Protection/Agricultural Entomology/Animal Science) + 2 years of Research Experience / Ph.D. with experience in Vertebrate pest management practices and excellent knowledge in working with a computer. Desirable: Experience in Field Trials with pest managements, vertebrate pests, knowledge on recent statistical methods and analysis for plant protection. Person who is willing to travel and conduct experiments in India.
Pay Scale:Rs.38,000/- PM + HRA
Age Limit:40 years for men & 45 years for women.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Educational Qualification:M.Sc (Horticulture Vgegetable Science) / (Agriculture / Horticulture Breeding & Genetics) / (Agiriculture-Pathology).
Pay Scale:Rs.25,000/- PM + HRA
Age Limit:35 years for men & 40 years for women.
Field Assistant (FA)
Educational Qualification:SSLC Pass preferable with prior experience in Lab and Field work, especially in Vegetable Crops
Pay Scale:Rs.10,000/- PM
Age Limit:21-40 years.
Technical Assistant
Educational Qualification:Diploma (Welder or Turner or Fitter) or ITI Certificate (Welder or Turner or Fitter) with Two Years’ Experience. Desirable: Experience in Machinery Fabrication.
Pay Scale:Rs.12,000/- PM
Age Limit:21-40 years.
Skilled Assistant
Educational Qualification:ITI Certificate (Welder or Turner or Fitter) or SSLC Pass with Two Years’ Experience in Agricultural/ Horticultural Machinery Fabrication. Desirable: Experience in Machinery Fabrication.
Pay Scale:Rs.10,000/- PM
Age Limit:21-40 years.
Lab Assistant
Educational Qualification:PUC / 12 th Std. with Knowledge in Computer. Desirable: Experience in Lab and Field Data Recording and Use of MS office.
Pay Scale:Rs.8,000/- PM
Age Limit:21-40 years.
Young Professional-I
Educational Qualification:B.Sc (Horticulture) / B.Sc (Agricultural Marketing) / B.Sc (Agriculture)/Diploma in Agriculture. Desirable: 1. Experience in research projects related to Agriculture / Horticulture / Economics. M.Sc (Agricultural Economics/MBA (Agribusiness)
Pay Scale:Rs.15,000/- PM
