Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) invites applications for recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant, Fellow in Navi Mumbai. Last date for application is 12th August 2016.
Senior Technical Assistant - 04
Educational Qualification:First class Masters Degree in Physics/Geophysics or First Class Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Desirable: Candidates should have at least 2 years work experience in the relevant field at a reputed Research Laboratory/Institute/University. Experience in handling scientific instruments related to geophysical/atmospheric/space measurements in reputed Research Laboratory/Institute/University
Pay Scale:Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Age Limit:30 years (05 years relaxation for sc)
Fellow - 01
Educational Qualification:A First class Master's degree in Physics. Research experience of at least three years in the broad area of Space Plasma processes having specialization in modeling of Plasma waves & instabilities in Earth’s Magnetosphere Desirable: (i) Ph. D. in Physics with emphasis on space plasma theory, analyses and modeling of satellite observations (ii) Candidates with a Ph.D degree and some postdoctoral experience will be especially encouraged.
Pay Scale:Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit:35 years
