Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites applications for recruitment of Teaching Positions in Kanpur. Last date for application is 20th February 2016.
Professor
Experience:10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Educational Qualification:Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout (also see in Notes below).
Pay Scale:Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.10500/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
Associate Professor
Experience:6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Educational Qualification:Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout (also see in Notes below).
Pay Scale:Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.9500/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
Assistant Professor
Experience:For a fresh Ph.D, the position will be on contract basis for the first three years and will be regularized afterwards. For those with three or more years of teaching/research/industrial experience regular appointment may be made.
Educational Qualification:Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout (also see in Notes below).
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + AGP Rs.7000/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
