Scientist-C

Educational Qualification:Ph.D. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Minimum three years of post-doctoral experience using human/mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells and/or mouse/rat brain as model systems.

Pay Scale:Rs. 68,000/- fixed per month

Age Limit:Not more than 36 years.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Educational Qualification:M.Sc. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis/dissertation work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Minimum two years post M.Sc. experience. Must have qualified CSIR-JRF/NET or GATE examination. The incumbent should be prepared to travel between the collaborators’ labs to coordinate the projects.

Pay Scale:Rs. 28,000/- per month + 30% HRA

Age Limit:Not more than 36 years.

Postdoctoral Fellow (RA)

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Ph.D. Degree should be awarded no earlier than July 2010.

Pay Scale:Rs. 36,000/- per month + 30% HRA

Age Limit:Not more than 36 years.

Project Assistant

Educational Qualification:Bachelors degree; Minimum 2 years experience in administration work in scientific environment, proficient in editing and database programs such as Microsoft Excel and word processing on computers and online.

Pay Scale:Rs. 16,000/- per month + 30% HRA

Age Limit:Not more than 36 years.
