Rs. 40000/- per month plus 10% HRA As per DST Rules
Ph.D in Botany / Ecology / Plant Systematics. Prior experience in planning and designing field work involving vegetation is necessary. Background in plant volatile emission, air pollution mitigation using plants and experience of analytical techniques such as gas chromatography are highly desirable. The project will involve field work in the Himalayas so candidates should be willing to undertake field work. The work will involve travel to remote locations including forests. The work is physically demanding and candidate must be physically fit. Conditions in the field can be harsh and facilities available at field station may be limited at times. Thus, it is critical that the candidate is highly motivated and passionate about field-based research.
