Rs.25,000/- + 20% H.R.A. (Total monthly salary is 30,000/-)
Candidates Should have M.Sc. / M.Tech. or equivalent in Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Physics / Geophysics / Computer Science/Mathematics from a recognized University/ Institution. Minimum 60% Marks in aggregate or CGPA of 7.0 and above at a 10 point scale, with valid NET (CSIR/UGC JRF) / NET (LS) / GATE / or any other equivalent examination scores. Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge of climate Models. Experience in Programming languages (like FORTRAN, C/C++, python etc.); Shell scripting. Meteorological data analysis tools (like GrADS, FERRET, NCL, CDO, R, Matlab etc.). Handling of large volume of data and conversant with data format like NetCDF, HDF, GRIB etc. Ability to work in groups.
