Rs.9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
(i) (a) possess a Second Class master degree in any branch of Horticulture or (b)(i) a Second Class bachelor’s degree in any branch of Horticulture and (ii) have about three years exclusive or combined experience in Horticultural Research or Horticultural Extension Service or Horticultural Education or Horticultural Engineering (c) the qualification specified in clauses (a) & (b) shall have been obtained from any of the Universities or institution established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. (ii) the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General ) Rules,1967 (iii) adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi
