Goa Public Service Commission (Goa PSC) invites applications for recruitment of Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer, Medical Officer, Junior Consultant, Ayurvedic Physician, Junior ENT Surgeon, Research Officer, Assistant Professor, College Director, Assistant Geologist in Panaji. Last date for application is 8th March 2016.
Lecturer in Surgery - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent. (iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 45 years.
Assistant Lecturer - 02
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Registered for Post – Graduate Degree in concerned speciality. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-

Senior Medical Officer for Anti Retroviral Therapy Centre - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) Doctor of Medicine or concerned clinical discipline, from a recognised University/Institution, failing which, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) and Diploma in Clinical discipline, from a recognised University/Institution, with at least three years experience in the line, failing which, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) and Fellowship in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (H.I.V.) Medicine or Diploma in Public Health, from a recognised University/Institution, with at least three years experience in the line. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Medical Officer for Anti Retroviral Therapy Centre - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from a recognised University/Institution. (ii) Trained by National AIDS Control Organization (N.A.C.O.) at one of National AIDS Control Organization designated training centres. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Lecturer in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) One-year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Junior Consultants (Radiologist, Paediatrician, Pathologist, Surgeon, Physician) - 08
Educational Qualification:(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In the case of Diploma holders, Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Ayurvedic Physician - 22
Educational Qualification:(i) Recognised Medical degree qualifications included in the second, third and fourth schedules of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. (ii) Enrolment on the Central or State Register of Indian Medicine. (iii) Three years professional experience in Ayurvedic preferably in a recognised hospital or a dispensary. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Junior ENT Surgeon - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree/diploma qualifications in the speciality concerned. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Research Officer - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Indian History or Political Science or Sociology from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Minimum two years experience in conducting research in the respective branch of study (Qualifications relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified). (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in History or Political Science or Sociology. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay Scale:Rs.9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 40 years.
Assistant Professors in Government College - 08
Educational Qualification:(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

College Director of Physical Education - 01
Educational Qualification:(i) Master’s degree in Physical Education (two years course) with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC’s 7 point scale plus a consistently good academic record; (ii) Record of having represented the University/College at least at the inter-University/inter Collegiate competitions or the State in National championships;
Pay Scale:Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,000/-

Assistant Geologist - 06
Educational Qualification:(i) M. Sc. Degree in Geology from a recognised University OR (i) Diploma in Allied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or its equivalent. (ii) 3 years experience in the field. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
