Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in the discipline of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics (For detailed Qualification grouping, please refer Note-i).
8 years’ post qualification work experience in the following: ‘Ship Building’/ ‘Ship Design’/ ‘Ship Repair’ activity OR Dockyards/ Repair Yards of Indian Navy OR Trials Teams/ WOTs onboard Service in warships like Shivalik/ Delhi/ LSTs/ Corvettes or similar major platforms and/ or in Trials Teams/ WOTs with exposure to onboard Hull Inspections, Trials, Painting, Welding and Rigging Works Docking/ Undocking, Slipping/ unslipping operations, Diesel Engines & Controls, Auxiliary Systems, Shipboard Systems. Or inservice in warships like Shivalik/ Delhi/ LSTs/ Corvettes or similar major platforms Candidate having experience in ASW FCS, Gunnery FCS & Gun mounting, surveillance radars, Integrated Platform Management Systems, Weapons Installations, Power distribution & Generation, Internal & External Communication will be preferred. Serving / retired Master Chief Artificer I/II / Chief Artificer or Master Chief Petty Officer / Chief Petty Officer or equivalent rank having the requisite qualification and relevant years of experience are eligible to be considered.
