Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) invites applications for recruitment of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Research Assistant in Hyderabad. Last date for application is 15th June 2016.
Associate Professor - 01
Educational Qualification:(a) Good academic record with a Ph.D. in a social science discipline, (b) a minimum of 55% marks at the Master’s degree level, (c) minimum five years of experience in teaching and/or research after Post-Doctoral in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution, (d) Published work of good quality with a minimum of 5 research publications, shall be considered more important than formal academic record, degrees or experience; and (e) demonstrated capacity to undertake high quality independent research related to Economics, Commerce, Sociology/Anthropology, Political Science and Public Administration, Geography and Statistics with specialisation in Econometrics.
Pay Scale:Rs.37,000-67,000 + Grade Pay Rs.9,500/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
Assistant Professor - 01
Educational Qualification: i. At least 55% marks at Post Graduate level in the disciplines relating to social sciences; ii. Ph.D. in the discipline or equivalent published work in the relevant disciplines mentioned at 1 (e).
Pay Scale:Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
Research Assistant - 04
Educational Qualification:A Post Graduate with not less than 55% marks in relevant disciplines mentioned at 1 (e). Relaxation applies as per the rules of the State Government in the case of reserved categories i.e. SC/ST.
Pay Scale:Rs.30,000/- per month
