Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) invites applications for recruitment of Semi Professional Assistant (Library), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Library Assistant, Library Attendant, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Driver in Thiruvarur. Last date for application is 15th July 2016.
Semi Professional Assistant (Library) - 01
Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/Information science with two years relevant experience in a University/College Library. (Or) Any Master’s Degree with a Diploma in Library Science/Master’s Degree in Library Science with one year of relevant experience in University/College library.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Upper Division Clerk (UDC) - 03
Educational Qualification:(i) A Bachelor Degree from recognized University. (ii) Three years of experience as Lower Division Clerk/Equivalent posts in Government/University/PSU/Autonomous Bodies or any other educational institute in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200+GP 1900. (iii) Proficiency in Computer Operations Desirable: Experience in Administrative / Accounts / Academic matters. Capacity to work in a fully computerized environment
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Library Assistant - 03
Educational Qualification:(i) Bachelor Degree in Library Science/Information Science. (ii) One year relevant experience in a University/College library.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - 05
Educational Qualification: (i) A Bachelor Degree from recognized University. (ii) Type writing Lower/Junior grade in English speed of 30 wpm. (iii) Proficiency in Computer Operations Desirable: Capacity to work in a fully computerized environment.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (Caretaker) - 03
Educational Qualification: (i) A Bachelor’s Degree/Three years diploma in Hotel Management from recognized University/Institute. (ii) Two years of experience in Hostel/Guest house maintenance. Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Operations.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Library Attendant - 04
Educational Qualification: (i) HSC (10+2)/Equivalent examination. (ii) Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institute/University. (iii) Two years of experience working preferably in a University Library. (iv) Proficiency in Computer Operations. Desirable: A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
Driver - 02
Educational Qualification: (i) SSLC/Equivalent. (ii) Valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicles having no adverse endorsement. (iii) 3 years’ experience in driving Motor Car/Heavy vehicle. Desirable: Knowledge of Motor mechanism.
Pay Scale:(PB-1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit:not exceeding 30 years.
