Scientist 'B' - (14 posts: 04 for SC, 02 for ST, 04 for OBC and 04 Unreserved)
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Geology/Earth Sciences or Botany/Biosciences/Life Sciences or an allied discipline with 3 years research experience in a palaeoscience discipline. OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:35 years.
Scientist 'B' - (01 post for Physically Handicapped with orthopedic disability)
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Geology/Earth Sciences or Botany/Biosciences/Life Sciences or an allied discipline with 3 years research experience in a palaeoscience discipline. OR Ph.D in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Age Limit:35 years.
Scientist 'C' - (03 Posts, Unreserved)
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Geology/Earth Sciences or Botany/Biosciences/Life Sciences or an allied discipline with 7 years research experience in a relevant palaeoscience discipline. OR Ph.D. with 4 years post-doctoral research experience in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Age Limit:40 years.
