Job Description: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites applications for recruitment of Technical Officer in Varanasi. Last date for application is 24th March 2016.

Pay Scale: Rs. 36000/- (fixed) + HRA

Qualification Required: Post Graduation in Agrometeorology/Meteorology/Agriculture/Horticulture (Priority may be given to the subject related to Crop science or Vegetable science)/ Geophysics (Meteorology specialization) with knowledge of computer applications and rural works. Desirable Qualification: Two to three-year research/teaching/extension experience in relevant field and data analysis. Good knowledge of Hindi as well as local language is required for preparation, dissemination of advisory bulletins, and experience of working with farmers in rural areas.
