Education Required :

Candidate should have passed Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years of total post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research/industry of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in any of the following: IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such company or other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards as may be so decided by the institute. A candidate must have produced at least three Ph.D. students (degree awarded) with reasonable number of peer reviewed publications in journals of repute.
