Education Required :

Essential: i) MBBS or equivalent Medical Graduation degree included in the First or Second schedule of the Medical Council of India. ii) Post graduate degree qualification like MS, Dip NB or equivalent in Surgery/ENT/Orthopaedics/Gynaecology (MD/MS) included in the First or Second schedule of the Medical Council of India. iii) Post-doctoral qualifications like M.Ch or equivalent in Surgical Oncology or surgical sub-specialties (GI, Urology, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics etc.) OR at least 3 years of professional experience in Surgical Oncology in a dedicated Cancer Centre of good repute after obtaining postgraduate qualification. Desirable: Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining to oncology, organ preservation, reconstructions, endoscopic surgical procedures etc.
