Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) invites applications for recruitment of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Field Assistant in Varanasi. Last date for application is 16th February 2016.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Educational Qualification:M.Sc. (Agriculture)/M.Tech. degree in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/Vegetable Science/Horticulture/Soil Science/relevant discipline with 04 years/ 05 years Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Candidates having a post-graduate degree in basic science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 02 years master’s degree should have an NET qualification. Desirable: Working experience and knowledge of drip irrigation and fertigation in horticultural and vegetable crops.
Pay Scale:Rs.25000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st, 2nd year and Rs.28000/- for 3rd year
Age Limit:not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
Field Assistant
Educational Qualification:B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc./B.Tech degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/LifeScience/Agriculture Engineering. Desirable : Knowledge of drip irrigation in vegetables, horticulture, layout of field experiments, data recording etc.
Pay Scale:Rs.8000/- p.m.
Age Limit:21-45 years.
