Scientist-D (Molecular Virology)
Educational Qualification:(I) Post graduate degree (MD/DNB) with five year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with six years R&D/teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. Or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS Degree. Or First class Master’s degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after Master’s Degree. Or Second Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 8 years experience. (II) Out of above, 2 years’ experience in a managerial position handling R&D projects independently or in a team effectively in a directing capacity.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
Age Limit:Not exceeding 45 years.

Scientist-D (Microbiology)
Educational Qualification:(i) Post graduate degree (MD Microbiology/Clinical Pathology) with five year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in relevant subjects with six years R&D/teaching experience from recognized university. or Second Class M.Sc (Life Sciences) + Ph.D degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized University with 8 years’ experience after completion of M.Sc + Ph.D. (ii) Out of above mentioned experience, 2 years must be in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

Scientist B (Social Behavioral Research)
Educational Qualification: First class Master’s degree in Social Work / Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University with 4 years R & D / teaching experience in the relevant subject, after Master’s degree. Or Second class Master’s degree in Social work/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology + Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R & D/ teaching experience, after Master’s degree + Ph.D.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

Technical Assistant (Molecular Virology)
Educational Qualification:Three years Bachelor Degree in Microbiology subject from a recognized University with DMLT/Certificate or relevant subject from Govt. recognized Organizations / Institute/ Medical College and One year experience in recognized Institute. Desirable Qualifications Master Degree in Medical Microbiology subject from a recognized University Govt. recognized Organizations / Institute/ Medical College and One year experience in recognized Institute. Knowledge of basic Computer Operations.
Pay Scale:(PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation / High School or equivalent from a recognized Board. Desirable: 1) Driving License for 3 and 4 wheelers LMV and HMV with badge. 2) Basic Knowledge of Computer Operations / Vehicle engine etc.
