Manipur University invites applications for recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor in Imphal. Last date for application is 12th April 2016.
Professor - 02
Experience:A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college and/or experience in research at university level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
Educational Qualification:Postgraduate degree in a related discipline with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) with 55%. Ph.D. degree in Education or in the discipline relevant to the programme and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications.
Pay Scale:Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.10000/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
Associate Professor - 05
Experience:Eight years of experience of teaching in a University/College and/or research in University/national level institutions excluding the period spent for the research degree Of M.Phil/Ph.D.
Educational Qualification:Good academic record with doctoral degree, with performing ability of high professional standard.
Pay Scale:Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.9000/-
Age Limit:as per rules.
Assistant Professor - 10
Experience:Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master's degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Educational Qualification:Good academic record with doctoral degree, with performing ability of high professional standard.
Pay Scale:Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6000/-

The duly filled in application form and API/PBAS proforma along with self-attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste/tribe etc. and a fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PWD) in the form of Bank Draft of SB drawn in favour of the Registrar, Manipur University, Canchipur, payable at SBI, MU, Canchipur (Code No. 5320) or cash receipt of the University should be submitted in an envelope superscribed with the name of post applied for with Advt. No. and date to the Registrar, Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal - 795003 on or before 12-04-2016. Those in service should apply through proper channel. Downloaded application forms should accompany a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST/PWD) at the time of submission.
